SFO: Chasing Parklets

In the city where Park(ing) day and Parklets started, it’s hard not to go chasing parklets while in San Francisco.  Using the handy map on the Pavements to Park website and tips from friends, I’ve found some on –

  • 3rd St / near Howard
  • Townsend/ near Lusk
  • Post St/ near Jones

Even though parklets aren’t “new” anymore, the concept is still inspiring stuff when it comes to urban change and community supporting ideas.  More locally this week, Good Food Guide reports on a new parklet in Geelong….so Brisbane…where’s your first parklet going to be?
