I love Ethel St

This has got to be one of my fave vistas in Brisbane.  Ethel St.  Every time I walk it, I love it.  It is something about the narrow-ness and the brick walls that makes me feel like I’m in a totally different city.  The QLDer house at the end, somehow seems the perfect juxtaposition.  I remember it was once under risk of redevelopment, but I hope it stays as it seems to be perfectly framed.

I absolutely love this street too! I always used to imagine iwas in London when I walked down it after getting a coffee from brio. Is it the street with the love message painted outside on of the apartment windows too? Love that part. I miss that area.

Cool. I don’t remember a love note but there is a heart painted on the street. My dream house is still a Woolstore one day – I’m a sucker for adaptive reuse of old buildings. I’m glad people were smart enough to keep these buildings and streets
